Church of Saint Athanasios of Plikati

It is the oldest church of Plikati. It does not have any inscription but the architecture evokes in a 18th century building. It has an interesting iconostasis and an ornate ceiling with the image of the Pantocrator. Inside the church are preserved two carved wooden candelabra with metal discs, which according to the testimony of local people  come from the old church of Virgin Mary that was demolished in 1950.
